MDM GROUP ASSOCIATES, INC HISTORY

MDM Group Associates, Inc. was founded by Joseph M. Mc Nasby in 1992. Joe has over 35 years in property, casualty and other insurance fields.

Joe has been a national accounts underwriters with two major insurers (GA, CNA). He has also been an executive with one of the largest regional brokers in the country, (Graham Company) and with the #2 broker in the world (AON).

Joe is a former President of the Philadelphia chapter of CPCU, (Professional Organization for Property and Casualty Insurance). He has also served 10 years on the board and executive committee of the Insurance Society, one of the oldest educational organizations in insurance.

In 1992 Joe raised the questions:

Without spending hours in rush hour traffic each day and by being located in a relaxed atmosphere:

1. How much more creative could I be?
2. With elimination of wasted hours each day, how much more time can be spent on customer service?

There were potential obstacles locating in a more remote location. With computers, faxes, email... and the fact that Joe is a pilot, those obstacles were easily overcome.

Since 1992, MDM has created and copyrighted 7 new products and established a satisfied customer base around the US. One new product, The Reduced Paid Skier Day product has been written up in insurance and trade publications as well as newspapers around the country.

As a result of these new products, MDM is now a member of the National Ski Area association (NSA), the Vacation Rental Management Association, (VRMA) Colorado Ski Country and Central Reservations Association of Destination Resorts (CRADR).

All of this in addition to MDM's core business in property and casualty that MDM began with. MDM has always been known for their expertise in contracting accounts.
